Welcome!
Are you seeking change in your life? Or perhaps change is already happening—whether you welcome it or not. Many of us feel stuck, like creeping caterpillars, when we are meant to spread our wings and fly like butterflies. One of my favorite aspects of working as a psychologist is witnessing and supporting my clients as they grow through the transformation of becoming their best selves.

I have worked in the mental health field for over 25 years, helping people address concerns that range from personal growth and self-exploration to more serious conditions such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. Clients come to me for many different reasons, but I am especially passionate about helping people achieve optimal health through improving sleep, increasing time spent in nature, integrating mindfulness and meditation into daily life, healing from past trauma, and developing a healthier relationship with finances—one of the most commonly cited sources of stress in Western societies.

I understand that it takes courage to enter therapy and share your most personal thoughts with someone new. My goal as a practitioner is to build a trusting relationship with you while also encouraging meaningful change guided by contemporary psychological research. I use a goal-directed, strengths-based approach to therapy. This often includes integrating scientifically-validated questionnaires to track your progress and help guide our work together. While we will focus on areas you would like to change, we will also identify and build on what is already going well. Although some individuals choose to engage in long-term psychological care, most of my clients pursue short-term, solution-focused therapy designed to create meaningful change in an efficient, affordable time frame.
